lately i've
been on a
sandwich kick,
so these bologna
slices were put
to great use.
started by
panini-pressing
my bread and
cooking a egg
in a mini
pan.
then i
pressed sliced
tomatoes, mustard,
the cooked egg,
and the turkey
slices between
the bread.
it was so good.
oddly, the
egg and the turkey
made a power
couple.

applegate grilled chicken strips
after having
their southwestern counterpart,
i was anxious
to try these
plain strips.
they were
perfect in texture
and were not
dry.
these make a perfect
addition to
a flavorful dish or
sandwich as
a great source of protein.
i made a
sandwich
with homemade pico de gallo
and of course,
yellow mustard.

applegate homestyle tenders
part dos
of the applegate
tenders.
both tenders
have ridiculously
tender white meat
chicken beneath
the golden breading.
however, when
i was preparing these
tenders, they smell
exactly fish sticks.
personally, i
prefer the gluten-free
tenders rather than
the homestyle.
the breading on
these tastes off.

applegate farms gluten-free tenders
oddly enough,
i was really
excited to try
these tenders.
i was already a huge
fan of applegate farms,
and these only added
confidence in choice.
plus, the put these cute details
into their packaging! come on,
who wouldn't be inclined to
buy this?!
the chicken inside
wasn't dry and the
breading had a great
flavor.
they were
amazing
with my
homemade
pico de gallo!

open the applegate
applegate
sent me a
generous sampling
of their new
product line.
since we are
celebrating labor day
early, i decided to
incorporate the strips
into dinner.
a base if butternut squash
and brocolli commenced...
followed by the strips!
they have this wonderful
latin taste to them. almost
smoky and a bit spicy.
