woke up this
morning with
smoothies
on my mind!
made a strawberry-banana-oat
smoothie!
Strawberry Banana Oat Smoothie
- one container of chobani strawberry gurt
-1/2 cup rolled oats
-one banana
-1/2 cup milk
-ice
blend!
chobani yogurt
makes the BEST
smoothies.
the strawberry yogurt
reminded my of a refridgerated
strawberry tart. i could
still taste the sun on
the fresh-picked berries.

enjoy your weekend everyone!

blue hue
as a native
childhood
picking fresh
i think Chobani
the fruit on the
bottom is beyond generous
and swirls into
to new york,
i spent mychildhood
picking fresh
blueberries
with my family.
personally,
i love blueberry
yogurts for the
way the blueberries
get a little mushy
and full of juice.
i think Chobani
makes the best blueberry
yogurt i've yet
to taste.the fruit on the
bottom is beyond generous
and swirls into
the yogurt easily, making
the white turn to blue.
me back to my childhood.

lemon cookie smoothie
while surfing
the internet the
other night, i came
across a recipe
for a lemon cookie
smoothie.
whaa?!
i loooove
citrus desserts (especially
key lime pie) and
immediately wanted
to try it.
oddly enough,
it called for a
container
of lemon chobani, small
world!
here's the link
to the blog
where it
originated.
i really enjoyed this
smoothie, but
i thought it tasted
more like key lime
pie (!!) rather than
a lemon cookie.

peachy keen
i love summer
because my basket
is filled with
fresh peaches.
the peach
chobani is
not as fruity
as its fellow
flavors.
it was nice
and tart
with chunks
of fresh peaches.

merry cherry
when cherries
are in season,
i will be in line
with bags of
them.

when i saw
that Chobani
makes a cherry
flavor, my hand
automatically
reached for
it on its own
accord.
i find that
chobani yogurts
are perfect
companions for
raw oats.
this flavor was
really spot-on.
it was perfectly
sweet&tangy
just like a
raw cherry.

mango tango
never before
have i seen
mango
as a flavor
for yogurt.
pulling back
that foil top was
like peering
curiously
into a vault of
gold.
chobani makes
their yogurts
with the fruit
on the bottom,
so stirring
is a must.
after a few stirs,
chunks of
mango began to appear.
it was both
intense and
mellow at the same time.
i though it
tasted more like a tropical
peach rather than a
mango.

chobani
even though
i'm dealing with
the aftermath
of oral surgery,
that did not
stop me from grinning
like a cheshire cat
when i saw
a HUGE
white box
on my porch.
after dismantling
the box, i put
all the yogurts
in the fridge
so they would be
nice and cold
... a few hours later
i decided
that vanilla would
be a good starter
so i can compare and
contrast
future flavors.
i reaallly liked
the way this yogurt
tasted. other vanilla
yogurts tend to be
too saccharine, i guess
companies feel they
have to make up
for the fact that
it doesn't have fruit?
i don't know, but
the flavor was perfect.
not to vanilla but
not to tart. it was almost
as if the vanilla bean
was roasted?
mhm, a five on the taste bud scale.
